We have already established that Vax Blade 24V is similar to the cordless range of Dyson. This vacuum cleaner is a handheld tool that is used upright with the assistance of an attachment. This upright design is believed to be the future of vacuum cleaning products. Currently, most households have a separate one, either upright or handled. If manufacturers can combine the two features to have one item, home cleaning will never be the same. Also, they will significantly slash the cost of purchasing.

The vacuum cleaner has an attractive, stylish appearance. It has a hand indicator of the battery on top, which shows the battery usage and how much is left. Also, the indicator indicates whether the brush of the vacuum is spinning or when the device is in boost mode. With such features, your device will not shut down abruptly without warning. Battery Life

The 24V Lithium battery life that powers Vax Blade is 35 minutes. Its life comes from a five hour charge time. However, when we were testing it, we realised that the time taken to charge the battery is slightly less than five hours. Note, many factors affect the life of any battery, such as temperature. For this reason, we believe that the stipulated five hours charging time is the accurate time that battery takes to recharge fully.

When operating on boost mode, the battery life will get nowhere near the actual 35 minutes run time. Boost mode is specifically designed for short bursts, especially when you want to get stubborn dirt out of your carpet. So, you are expected to use it for a few seconds, then continue operating in normal mode. That said, the battery works well, and 35 minutes is enough time for you to have done most of your cleaning work. The battery works exemplary well compared to other blades in the same category.

Performance

The most important thing in any cordless vacuum cleaner is performance. This is the point whereby you can discern the level of effectiveness of your cleaner. We picked up various forms of debris from different kinds of surfaces during the test to ascertain how ideal the Vax Blade 24V is for different environments in your home. The results were great, and we loved how well it could collect even the most stubborn dirt the moment we activated the boost mode.

The manufacturer claims that the device delivers similar performance as an upright. After trying and testing the device, we agreed with their claim, and Direct Helix Technology facilitates its high-performance levels. On various surfaces we were working on, the results were incredible. Notwithstanding, the tool struggled on complex surfaces such as thick layers or carpets with many build-ups. Upon activating the boost mode, the vacuum could easily clean most of these troublesome surfaces and build-ups. This product is a great choice for anyone tired of looking for an ideal vacuum cleaner. It is perfect for picking up pet hair in just a single sweep. The vacuum is also suitable for vacuuming delicate floors as you will only need to switch off the motorised brush.

The Vax Blade 24 is amongst a few cordless vacuums equipped with a boost mode. The mode demonstrated incredible dust pick up on different surfaces that we tried. When the boost mode is on, the battery lasts for around 10 minutes, but when on standard power mode, it lasts for 35 minutes. The 24V battery takes five hours to recharge, but factors such as temperature can increase or decrease the recharging time. You can opt to buy additional batteries if you take a lot of time vacuuming your home.

When you use Vax Blade 24V upright, it manoeuvres easily on any surface and leaves a clean and sharp surface. However, sometimes the handheld unit can be bulky and difficult to move around some tight places in your home. That said, the vacuum is a great performer and a great price model with a stylish design. This is the best pick for anyone who is looking for a cord-free vacuum cleaner.
